Ministerial Series – Minister of Higher Education

UKEC would like to welcome all Malaysian students to another segment of our Ministerial Series, this time inviting YB Dato Seri Idris Jusoh, the Minister of Higher Education Malaysia.
The Ministry of Higher Education was formed officially again on 28th July 2015, after a reshuffle of the Federal Cabinet in a special press conference by the Prime Minister.
The integral role of the Ministry is to create an academic ecosystem in Malaysia that comprises of the best higher education institutions, in order to generate first-rate thinkers, scholars and skilled-workers.
Join us in what is sure to be an engaging dialogue session with the man spearheading these initiatives, the Minister of Higher Education himself.
A number of notable facts about the Minister, YB Dato Seri Idris Jusoh:
●The Minister graduated with a Bachelor in Social Sciences (Economics) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (1980)
●Proceeded to obtain an MBA from the University of New Haven, USA (1988)
●Arabic Language studies at the University of Jordan (1994)
