Q: How much does it cost to register for MSLS 2011?
A: It is free of charge.
Q: Is food provided for all participants?
A: Food is provided free of charge for all participants, and will be provided for all meal times during the duration of the summit (8am to 6.30pm) – this is inclusive of breakfast, lunch and tea. Vegetarian options are also available.
Q: What is the dress code for MSLS 2011?
A: The dress code is strictly formal. Suits are not necessary but recommended. Neck ties are required to be worn by all male participants. Jeans and tee shirts are prohibited. The organizing committee reserves the right to not allow entry to participants who do not fulfil the dress code requirement.
Q: What will happen throughout the conference?
A: Please refer to the itinerary for further information.
Q: Will accommodation be provided for participants?
A: No, accommodation is not going to be provided. Some options for accommodation include Hilton Kuala Lumpur Hotel, My Hotel @ Brickfields, My Hotel @ Sentral, YMCA Hostel (at Brickfields), and Matahari Lodge.
Q: I’ll be driving to the conference. Where can I park my car?
A: Some options you have in terms of where to park your car are listed below. Please note that actual prices may vary, as these rates were found on the internet.

There will be a flat rate of RM8 per day for parking at Hilton Kuala Lumpur Hotel. You can collect this ticket from the Hilton staff who will be at the conference.

The next nearest car park is at KL Sentral, for the rate of RM 4 for the first hour and RM3 for subsequent hours.

The weekend parking rate in Plaza Sentral (the office block next to Kl Sentral) is RM4 per day.

Parking at Brickfields (just around Mayflower and the Post Office) which is within walking distance to Hilton Hotel costs RM6-7 a day.

The cheapest way is to park your car at a Monorail or a Putra LRT station, and commute using the trains to KL Sentral which is next to Hilton.
Q: How can I prepare for the summit?
A: You can read through the fact sheets that the MSLS 2011 organizing committee has prepared – these contain essential information that will help participants better understand and appreciate the sessions and the topics discussed. If you want to, you can also bring some copies of your CV to give to the company representatives who will be there for recruitment purposes.
Q: Anything else I should note?
A:
- The organizing committee has set up recycling bins in the conference room for participants to use, so as to minimize waste and to promote recycling.
- You should wear your name tags at ALL TIMES. If you are not wearing your name tag that has been issued at the registration desk, you will not be allowed to enter the hall. Seating is on a first come first serve basis. If you do not have a seat in the room, you will not be allowed to stand in the hall – you can watch the session going on from the screen that will be placed outside the hall.
