THE MALAYSIAN  CAREER FAIR
The Malaysian Career Fair 2025, in partnership with UKEC and GRADUAN, is UKEC’s largest flagship event. Now in its 21st edition, the fair will take place during Spring Break 2025 on 12–13 April at Royal Lancaster London. This two-day event connects Malaysian students with career opportunities back home, featuring 30+ top employers. Last year, the fair attracted over 4,500 attendees and collected approximately 2,500 CVs.
- 12 April 2025, Career Fair: Students can explore career booths, network with employers, and participate in the Sponsors Hub, an exclusive one-hour engagement session with UKEC Sponsors. This year, we’re also offering a complimentary professional photo booth.
- 13 April 2025, Interview Session: Dedicated interview sessions for shortlisted candidates.
We’re expanding our network! Stay updated by following @themalaysiancareerfair on Instagram, subscribing to our Telegram channel, and registering now at themalaysiancareerfair.co.uk.
REGIONAL CAREER EVENTS  RCE
Regional Career Events (RCEs) are smaller-scale career engagements designed to offer students a more in-depth and interactive experience with companies. These half-day sessions typically include:
- Company presentations on business operations and career opportunities.
- Student panels for peer insights and discussions.
- Career preparation support, including CV reviews and interview tips.
- Networking sessions with refreshments, allowing for direct engagement with company representatives.
Building on the success of CIMB x UK Outreach 2025 in February, we are continuing our efforts to bring exclusive career opportunities to students across the UK and Ireland. This year, RCEs will feature:
- PwC in Cork (Ireland), Bristol (with ICAEW), Sheffield & Leeds.
- Sunway in Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, Edinburgh & London.
- Shell in Manchester & London.
Through RCEs, we remain committed to bridging the gap between students and leading employers.
UKEC  TRACKER
The UKEC Tracker is your ultimate companion for securing a summer internship or graduate role with Malaysian companies! With summer and graduation around the corner, now is the time to land that dream opportunity—and we’re here to help.
The first of its kind in Malaysia, the tracker features 130+ job opportunities across industries such as finance, law, consulting, engineering, and more, to keep you on top of applications, deadlines, and progress, making your job hunt more organised and stress-free!
CAREER  TOWN HALL
The Career Townhall is a data-driven initiative designed to strengthen connections between Malaysian student societies and potential employers. In early September 2024, the UKECareers Office distributed a Google Form to all UKEC Supreme Councillors (SCs) to gather key insights, including student membership sizes and academic backgrounds across 79 Malaysian Societies (MSocs). 53 MSocs participated, providing valuable data that allowed us to generate region-specific insights for all 13 regions.
This comprehensive report has been shared with our Platinum and Gold Sponsors to support their planning of future Regional Career Events (RCEs) across the UK and Ireland.
