Stay tuned for the upcoming chapter of the upcoming edition of the Malaysian Student Leaders’ Summit, where we aim to ignite conversations that matter and empower students to make a difference.
MALAYSIAN HEALTHCARE REFORM FORUM
The Malaysian Healthcare Reform Forum 2024 was a forum designed to address pressing issues within Malaysia’s healthcare system, offering a platform for open discussion and impactful solutions. It focused on bridging the gap between overseas and local healthcare professionals, improving regulatory processes, and finding sustainable reforms. By engaging with experts and stakeholders, this forum aims to support a healthcare system that can retain and value Malaysian talent.
Underlying this event is UKEC’s dedication and unwavering commitment to address brain drain, helping students in ways ranging from understanding the factors behind the “brain drain” of overseas-trained professionals to tackling the issues faced by locally trained doctor, shedding light on pathways for sustainable reform.
